My Guitar Profiles

Every guitar. Every spec.

A saved spec sheet for a guitar setup

A spec sheet for every guitar in your case. Save the setup once, and the numbers are right there the next time you need them.

🎸 Your specs, on file
Save a profile for each guitar so the next time you set it up, restring it, or chase a buzz, the numbers are right where you left them — bridge, scale, gauge, tuning, action, relief and more. Everything stays in this browser; nothing is uploaded.
💾 Keep a backup
Your profiles live in this browser, not the cloud — private to you, but they'll disappear if you clear your browser data or switch devices. Tap Export backup to save all your guitars to a single file, kept safely off your browser. Cleared your data, or on a new device? Import backup brings them all back. You can still open any guitar and tap Print / Save as PDF for a tidy card to keep in the case.
Good to Know

Guitar profile questions, answered

Where are my guitar profiles stored?

They're saved privately in your own browser using local storage. Nothing is uploaded to a server, so your profiles stay on the device you created them on. The trade-off is that clearing your browser data removes them, so tap Export backup now and then to save all your guitars to a file you can re-import later.

Can I back up my profiles or move them to another device?

Yes. Tap Export backup to download a single file holding all your guitars. Keep it somewhere safe, and if you ever clear your browser data or switch to a new device, tap Import backup and pick that file to bring every guitar back. Export and Import is the surest way to keep your setups; Print / Save as PDF is handy for a paper copy in the case.

Do I need an account?

No. There's no sign-up and no login. Add a guitar and it's saved instantly on your device.

What should I record in a guitar profile?

Anything that helps you recall a setup: bridge type, scale length, string gauge and tuning, action at the 12th fret, neck relief, nut and pickup heights, and the dates of your last setup and string change. Every field is optional except the name.
